Part II

The title pretty much sums it up. After a minor hiatus, I'm back for Part II. I've reached a new stepping stone in my journey here in Manhattan and I'm feeling the need to tap into my inner Carrie Bradshaw. Sitting here typing again is giving me such a natural high and I can't help but smile while The Foreign Exchange plays in the background. Sitting in a little ball on my couch in my lower east side studio, I'm wondering what I should share first.

I love my job. I love what I do and the people I work with, and I'm blessed to have the opportunity to educate myself as I step up the ladder simultaneously. Waking up looking forward to my day is a blessing.  I see an exciting year ahead with amazing mentors. For those of you who don't know, I work as a Marketing Coordinator here in Manhattan and when I first started this blog, I was an intern that thought I'd be in New York for one month. Like I said, I love what I do.

The company is called 10th Tribe. Born here in Manhattan, the spring-summer 2012 collection has launched exclusively in Manhattan boutiques. A personal hobby is working on the weekend blog photo shoots. We connect with different "tribes" in different locations and each experience is a unique one. By having this weekend hobby, I've gained in more ways than one. I've discovered new talents, discovered that I can party til 4am but still get up at 8:30 to work on a Sunday morning shoot, and met an amazing new friend you'll be hearing a lot more about.

Meet Amy, another LA native, which probably has a lot to do with the immediate "click". We are a dope ass duo if you ask me. Amy is a model/fashion blogger that has also moved her life to Manhattan from LA to study at FIT, intern for companies that represent super chic brands, and occasionally write articles for a website that we will get to in another entry. Amy's a consistent wardrobe blogger so you must check out her shoots that she cranks out weekly. She's a go-getter, hilarious, and is literally a hybrid of my two best friends from home. What more could a girl ask for? Viviere Bella

In the short time we've known each other, Amy and I have picked each others' brains and come across some must-have items that we look forward to sharing. Together, we plan on doing big things and having a ton of fun on the way up. I'm a 21 year old independent young woman, single, and ready to pour my heart into this amazing life that I've created. Again, I'd love to share this part with you because I have the feeling it'll be the best one yet. Stay tuned.

I'm back muhfukkassss!
